Cash Converters

Client – Cash Converters
Agency – AJF Partnership
Team – Asha (Art Director), Dim (Copywriter)

We devised two social campaigns for Cash Converters under the creative direction of Scott Walker. These focused on the EOFY and Father’s Day. The campaigns are centred around Cash Converters’ fun and playful tone of voice.

Our tax time campaign “Convert Your Tax Return” looked at the products you could buy with your tax return and how they can convert into entertainment, study, an escape or leisure etc.

The Father’s Day campaign “Bad Jokes and All” directed customers to Cashies stores for a gift that shows Dad you love all of him, even if he cracks some shocking jokes.

What we learnt

As our first real client, this was a learning journey that gave us a glimpse into how a brief travels through an agency. We worked alongside different departments, including account management and studio, witnessing the power of collaboration in action.

Adhering to the Cash Converters brand guidelines was a key part of our work, underscoring the importance of maintaining brand consistency while delivering creative solutions.

This experience of tackling an actual brief strengthened our understanding of the advertising process, and helped contextualise everything we’d learnt at RMIT and Award School.
